I happily and momentarily interrupt your regularly scheduled reading to bring you this important announcement and acknowledgement!
“Thank you! Your patience has been appreciated!”
Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control and a new learning curve that I’m grateful that I encountered in the publishing industry I was unable to release Book II - Survivalist to Thrivalist – One Woman’s Journey in paperback version on January 28, 2018 as expected. In fact, it meant that a copy that wasn’t fully edited was released to the public as an eBook and not the actual final edited version that was supposed to be released. OOPS!
Although this was a disappointment and a setback, after the life I’ve fought hard to thrive over, I tend to live with my glass overflowing instead of half full or empty and grasped the lesson that was being presented instead of giving up. I did this in order to help my Thrivalist Community in the future to NOT go through the same lessons with their publishing experiences and make their process more seamless than mine.
I’d like to take this opportunity from May 24, 2018 - June 8, 2018 to express my gratitude to those of you who’ve been waiting to get your paperback edition and it is with great pleasure that I offer you my dear readers Book II - Survivalist to Thrivalist – One Woman’s Journey in PAPERBACK for ONLY $9.66 Regular $20.00
As an ADDED bonus - Digital copies - on SALE for ONLY $2.99! Regular $10.00
Survivalist to Thrivalist – One Woman’s Journey is the reads-like-fiction story written by author and inspirational speaker Deborah Kinisky that recalls the life changing events that she experienced from the ages of twenty to thirty-nine years old and how she survived multiple adversities that no human should ever have to endure.
The true message though, is in how Deborah learned to thrive after abuse, trauma and addiction and to give you hope of living happily under clear blue skies after facing your own hardships. Deborah’s writings are truly a labor of love and her wish is that by you stepping in the pages of her life that she’s lovingly laid out for you, that you find impactful information that helps to heal your heart and soul.
You don’t have to read the first volume titled Purple Sky Survivalist – Growing Up a Victim of Illusions in order to follow the story but it absolutely builds a stronger framework to fully grasp the resilience one human can possess and I kindly urge you to pick up a copy.
And NOW back to your regularly scheduled reading UNLESS... you'd like to read what people are saying about Book II - Survivalist to Thrivalist - One Woman's Journey!
- Accolades -
Deborah Kinisky is thriving. When you read her story, you may at times wonder how. Deborah candidly discloses her life with a matter-of-factness that takes you off guard. There are events that are at times disturbing and presented just as a day like any other, demonstrating how normalizing atrocious behavior can lead children to grow up with a distorted view of the world. There are moments of humor that will make you laugh out loud. You will question your own view of normal. It's in these moments of questioning and self-analysis that you'll find the truths of your life, as well as the falsehoods. Only by sorting the truth from the lies you can find your own blue skies. "Survivalist to Thrivalist - One Woman's Journey" shows you how Deborah finds her blue skies and became a thrivalist. Her stories will help lead you to your own truths and help you to thrive. The journey to blue skies is possible for us all and as Deborah shows us, it's worth the trip.
- Debra Burns BA BEd - Woman, Daughter, Mother.
“The upbringing of a child should be done with tender affection because the possibilities for the future are endless. Yes, there will be challenges along the way, but every human life must be nurtured and cherished. Now, imagine a little girl with a loving family; perhaps one that is a little idealistic but one that we all hope for. A mother who teaches her daughter that anything is possible, mentors her as she transitions through life and provides her with the ‘something old, something new, something blue on her wedding day. A father who loves his little girl and treasures her for her curiosity to learn, encourages her to challenge stereotypes and teaches his daughter about how young men should behave in the early dating scene and throughout a strong marriage. Where siblings squabble and grow to appreciate one another. A family who has the glue that keeps them balanced in times of instability because of their deep love for one another. I wish this was Deborah’s story. It is not. What is amazing about this story, is that regardless of Deborah’s horrific childhood and a lack of strong role models, Deborah has learned from her own journey.”

“Deborah Kinisky unflinchingly lays bare the details of her life, making Purple Sky Survivalist an utterly compelling read. While the material makes for some disturbing passages, you can’t help but turn the page. I kept rooting for this brave and sensitive girl, never in doubt that she would triumph.”
- Judy Piercey - Journalist and Writer
“Deborah Kinisky is truly a Thrivalist. She’s overcome adversity and a traumatic past and made her voice a beacon of light in the dark world of childhood sexual abuse. She is an asset to the community and to anyone who wants to thrive in life instead of merely survive.
I simply adore her.”
